Experienced researcher

Dr. carlos martín-alberca

Funded fellow and main project executor. The funded research and training will boost his career as a professional researcher in the analytical and forensic chemistry fields. It will allow him to develop, validate and implement valuable forensic tools applicable for forensic casework.

supervisors & co.

Dr. arian van asten

Main supervisor of the PyroProf Project. He is R&D coordinator at the NFI, and also a professor in forensic analytical chemistry at the University of Amsterdam (UvA).

Dr. mattijs koeberg

Main technical collaborator of this action at the NFI. He is a forensic expert and the group leader of the new Explosives and Chemical Fire and Identification team at the NFI.

Dr. Govert Somsen

Main Supervisor of this project at the VU. He is a full professor in Biomolecular Analysis / Analytical Chemistry.

Dr. Rob haselberg

Main collaborator at the VU for the development of new analytical strategies by CE-MS.
